Wedding: Amy & Tim

Amy was such a joy to work with... when I met her, my first thought was what a beautiful bride she would be and as it turns out, I was right!

She and Tim were married at Vintage Villas. Congrats you guys!

Photo Shoot: Austin Wedding Guide - November 2009

I am so ecstatic to announce that the November issue of Austin Wedding Guide is out... why? Because I was lucky enough to be the makeup artist for the cover as well as the eight page spread inside!!

I love the concept of this spread, Day to Night. It showcases both a daytime, garden wedding as well as an evening, indoor wedding. I can't decide which one I like the best... I'll let you decide for yourself, here are some pictures!

A lot of preparations and hard work went into making this amazing shoot possible and I would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all those who were involved!!

Photography: Maria Bernal
Models: Kendall, Melissa, Megan, Julie and Karalyn
Location: Dunvegan Keep
Flowers: Brenda Abbott Floral Design and WOW Factor Designs
And last but certainly not lease, Austin Wedding Guide!

Wedding: Nadia & Thomas

I truly enjoyed being Nadia's makeup artist for her wedding and her bridal portraits; a few of which you can view below. I went along with Nadia and Dustin Meyer, her photographer, on the day of her bridals' for touch-ups and lots of fun!

Nadia and Thomas were married at Lakeway Resort and Spa.

Hair by Jen Hoover.

Wedding: Kelly & Mike

I truly enjoyed working with Kelly and her family on her wedding... they were all so much fun, just like Kelly! Only a bride who has a great sense of humor can take one of her bridal portraits in a Amy's Ice Cream photo booth... although I'm sure her photographer, Dustin Meyer, had a little something to do with that!

Thanks Kelly, I wish you and Mike a wonderful life together!

Wedding: Bianca & Gabor

I think Bianca has to be one of my favorite brides of the year! She is sweet, beautiful and she and her family were a joy to work with on her wedding day. Although I hadn't met Gabor before the wedding, when I was introduced, I could tell that he also had her sweet nature and that they were perfect for each other!

Below are pictures from her bridal session taken by the wonderful Maria Bernal whom I work with often... thanks Maria for the stunning pictures!

I also would like to wish Bianca and Gabor a wonderful life together... you guys are the best!

Wedding: Leala & Jeff

Leala is one of the most unique brides I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She's beautiful, fashionable and has a witty since of humor... a combination that's just delightful!

Her bridal pictures were taken in April by the wonderful Jeff Loftin. He did an amazing job capturing her beauty don't you think?

Her hair was crafted by the wonderful Necole Marlow, the wedding was held at the always gorgeous and tranquil Kindred Oaks, and coordinated by Donna Aleman, a woman who always makes weddings a piece of cake!

Now that they are happily married, I wish Leala and Jeff (not the same as the photographer!) a blissful life together!

Engagement Portraits: Samantha & Stephen

Samantha and Stephen are both A&M alums, so the perfect place for their engagement portraits was on campus in College Station, TX!

Dustin Meyer, my favorite photographer, and I drove over on Friday ready for some amazing photo opportunities... we were not disappointed! The weather was beautiful and we really enjoyed our relaxing walk around campus, taking pictures with the happy couple.

Be sure to visit Dustin's blog for a slideshow!

Wedding: Sue Lynn and Charles

I did makeup for Sue Lynn's engagement portraits in January as well as for her bridals this month and it was so nice to see her big day finally come around!

I have worked at Kindred Oaks many times and it remains one of my favorite wedding venues. From the location to the staff, the whole experience is always wonderful!

Dustin Meyer, her photographer, did an amazing job with pictures and Necole Marlow, her hair stylist, did an outstanding job with hair.

I wish Sue Lynn and Charles the best of luck and happiness in their new life together!
